Emotions in Limelight

img_1080I remember it was autumn,

That day cannot be forgotten,

That morning was magical,

Everything seemed to be illogical,

I was on the way to my guitar class,

I saw her in the mass,

She giggled with her pal,

Everything except her seemed dull.

Little did I knew I fell for her,

Would I meet her ever?

Because I was so lost in her charm,

I noticed a tattoo on her arm.

As she walked away the pain grew,

And still harder the air blew.

She was like my heart’s ignition,

That day I wrote my best composition.

INDIA : Why Dual Nature ?

“The Republic is open and tolerant but also knows how and when to be firm and make its values respected.” — Jean-Pierre Raffarin
As an Indian, Moumita respects the patriotism circulating Republic Day, Independence Day or a cricket match between IND v/s PAK.
She bitterly points about Dual nature of being Indian. Watch her to know more…

Open Letter : Syrian Refuge Crisis

To

All world citizens, .

I am not a number, but a person from Syria who lost everything in last 5 years. I had a family who used to love me like anything and i used to do same. In a blast, I lost them in front of my eyes. But I was helpless. In grief, l cried like a baby. With passage of time, my tears got dried up. I was hopeless and aimless for my life. In silence, i used to think “why we suffered???” We never did wrong to others. Why Allah punished us? In holy Quran, we are said do good to others & you will be rewarded with jannat. The land where people used to celebrate, live and survive now turns to land of broken infrastructure and dead bodies. After that incident with mine, I left my town to avoid seeing my land turning into graveyard. With my savings, I start to move to safer place. In whole journey, everything was changed except the people. All those were left during the civil war were search of safe place. Situation was bad but it got worsen with uprising of ISIS. Many of affected people joined then in believe of better life, many flew to our land to join them. They started to kill many of us to spread fear in lands. And suddenly we, Syrian turned to be cherry of the cake. Everyone was eager to know about us and ISIS. Many Press agencies were busy to cover us. Unfortunately some lost their lives in cross attacks. In whole mess, ISIS strengthens its base in our lands. With many terrorist attacks in foreign lands by ISIS made world to take actions against them. In air strikes by different countries not only killed ISISians but many of us were killed. We lost every basic facility.

Thanks to WHO, UNICEF and UNHCR volunteers who helped to re stabilise the basic living facilities for us. They are good humans. Most important, I am always obliging to all the donors who donated for us to have a better life for us. Yet those saints are struggling hard to maintain the basic facilities as no. of people are increasing in relief camps of them. Allah!! Bless them. They are planning to shift us to nearby countries to save us from violence. Many of us don’t want to leave Syria but we have too!!.

The process of registration in UNHCR has started. Soon, I will too register in that and will get a unique number as new identity and a refugee tag. I never know, Will i ever will be back to my motherland?? I pray Allah, please peace my land so as we will able to return back and restart our life. I hope world will understand that peace is ultimate need to survive in this piece of life. I expect world never see a crisis like Syrian crisis!!!!!

Thanks

Why India should legalise the Prostitution?

  • India partially allowed prostitution as it is legal to practise if carried out in private residence of a prostitute or others. It is illegal if soliciting in a public place, kerb crawling, owning or managing a brothel, prostitution in a hotel, pimping and  These hypocrisy policies for prostitution make this occupation vulnerable to get exploited by police for money and free sex. This corruption leads to illegal growth of brothels by non state actors where prostitutes are underpaid and ill treated. The grown money from it is used to spread more crime in the state.
  • India has to invest a sum of money to aware the citizens about prevention of HIV / AIDS. Though it is important but a country which is still in developing tag, a penny saved can be used for development only. If prostitution is legalised, government will able to control or take care that all sexworkers working in it should have regular health check up of them so that customers do not get affected by any of STDs. This will help to cut down the funds for medication and preventions of STDs.
  • India can develop a new market for organised sex tourism which will help to increase the foreign fund reserves. India has hubs like Sonagachi in Kolkata, Kamathipara in Mumbai,   B. Road in New Delhi, Naqqasa Bazaar in Saharanpur, Chaturbhuj Sthan in Muzaffarpur, Lalpur, Maduovwedih in Varanasi, Meerganj in Allahabad and Kabadi bazar of Meerut, though they are still illegal and unrecognised . But with legalising, we can provide sex workers respectable and honoured lives. They can be easily connected to all social programmes running by the government for betterment of all. This will also help them to return back to main society or select prostitution as an occupation.
  • In recent times, national and international press describe India as not safe place for women. Most of crimes are mainly due to have sex. Psychologically legalising prostitution will help those youths will prefer prostitution over getting criminalised for having sex. It is seen that the countries which legalised the prostitution have cut down the crime over the women when prostitution was not legalised. It can be hoped that this will show good in our country too.
  • With legalising prostitution, government will able to directly able to interfere, regulate and control that for good environment of the country. This will help to taxify that which will also help the economy to boast. This will help to eliminate children prostitution from country and help to develop the prostitution where rights of sex workers will be protected. Their upbringings have the choice to select their occupation not like default selection practised now. Prostitution is 2nd oldest occupation after farming , India is credited for Kamasutra to the world. Still, it is underrated and unrecognised occupation. People believe it as tabbo but it is accepted behind the dark curtains . Why don’t we have enough guts to accept that in public? First step will to accept this will be legalising Prostitution in India.
